when we read, several process take place at the same time. They are articulate,decode,understand, interpret,decipher,speak,identify,creat meaning,pronounce,evaluate,infer, and so on.There are two major purposes for reading:

1. Reading for information(intensive reading)
2. Reading for enjoyment (extensive reading)
