Adjectives
An adjective usually describes a noun or pronoun and it is used either before a noun or after a lining verb. Examples: Big, small, beautiful, interesting etc.
Types of Adjectives:

Adjectives can be divide into three types:
1. Qualitative adjectives: These adjectives identify a quality that a person, an animal or a thing has; large, small, beautiful etc. For examples: Tall boy, big dog, long letter etc.
2. Classifying adjectives: These adjectives place a noun in a particular class that it belongs to. These adjectives are words like ancient, modern, golden, silver etc.
3. Colour Adjectives:- Adjectives indicating clouds are called colour adjectives. Examples are: black, white, dark, Green etc.
When two or more adjectives of different types are used before a noun, the usual order is:
Qualitative adjective + Colour adjective + Classifying adjectives + noun
For examples: A small black car.
Her little blue eyes.

Degrees of Adjectives An adjective has comparative & superlative form. We use – er and – east generally after short adjectives with one syllable. We use more and most before long adjectives with more than one syllable.

Ex.
Big – Bigger – Biggest
Small – Smaller – Smallest
Beautiful – more beautiful – most beautiful
We may use a little / a little bit / much before the comparative form of an adjective. If the difference between two people, objects etc. is very little, we use a little / a little bit. If the difference is large or great, we use much. 1. Mumbai is much bigger than Delhi.
2. Rashid is a little bit taller than Rakesh.

Complete the sentence with a bit or much + a comparative.
